Sofia leads our Welcome Center, Food Pantry, and Clothes Closet programs. The program engages hundreds of lead volunteers and thousands of community members that come to help, providing essentials to more than 40,000 people each year. Sofia has worked at SHCS for 11 years, first in our Early Childhood Education program, then in La Mesa Verde, and finally serving six years in our Welcome Center. She is an expert about our community and how to treat every member with compassion and respect.
