Free Tax Help is a coalition of organizations that provide free tax help through the Bay Area Led by United Way Bay Area in partnership with the IRS. Our service are Free, Secure, and High-Quality. Tax returns are prepared by trained and IRS-certified volunteers.

VITA hours of operation will be will be the following:
Feb 3rd to April 16th, 2024.
Thursdays: 3 pm to 7 pm (In-person)
Friday - 2 pm to 5 pm (In-person)
Saturday - 9 am to 3 pm (In person)
Tax Preparation
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) is a free, IRS-sponsored program to help low- and middle-income workers get their Federal and State personal income taxes prepared and filed electronically for free. VITA also ensures that workers receive all the tax credits to which they are entitled. This is a nationwide program that provides extensive training and certification to our volunteers so that they may provide free tax filing services to low- to moderate-income earning individuals and families.
