Items to Donate

Our donation station is open:

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00am to 4:00pm

  • Fridays: 8:00am to 12:00 (Noon)

  • Saturdays: 9:00am to 12:00pm (Noon)

We accept:

  • Pop-top cans and other packaged food items (we cannot accept homemade food).

  • Gently used or new blankets and linens.

  • Hygiene items of unopened toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, etc.

  • Diapers (both infant and adult) unopened infant formula.

  • New socks, and new underwear for men, women and children.

  • Gently used or new sleeping bags.

Collect Items & Host a Drive

You can make a HUGE impact in a family’s life by organizing a drive! Follow these easy steps:

  1. Choose your team: Invite your co-workers, classmates or teammates to participate in your drive. You can collect at your place of worship or with friends, family and neighbors!

  2. Choose your donation: We are preparing for our 2023 Holiday Campaign. You can also check our most needed items list. We always need canned food, blankets and hygiene items.

  3. Register your drive and start collecting: Sign up here!

  4. Celebrate your success! Gather your team’s collection and bring it to Sacred Heart. Let us know when you come so we can thank you personally. We can also take a picture of your group with your donations.

Our Wish List

These are the items we look for throughout the year!

  • Turkeys and Toys (November-December)

  • Pop-top canned foods

  • Hygiene Items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, razors).

  • Tampons and sanitary pads

  • Diapers (both infant and adult)

  • Infant formula

  • Clean, new, or gently used clothing and shoes

  • New socks and underwear

  • New or gently used blankets

  • New or gently used sleeping bags

Donate a Vehicle

 Delivering to Sacred Heart: Arrival & Parking Information

Please bring all donations to the Sacred Heart Community Service Donation Station at 1381 South 1st Street, San Jose, CA 95110. Current donation station business hours and closure dates are always available in the footer on any page of our website. Our parking lot is very busy. Pull in off Alma and don’t park - drive through and you’ll see our donation station in back.
