Sacred Heart Housing Action Committee

We are a diverse group of San José residents, workers, voters, and organizers representing the immediate need for renters rights and affordable housing for homeless, low and very low-income residents, and economic refugees.

We seek immediate, long term, and equitable solutions to guarantee affordable housing for all people.

We believe in housing for all and want tenants to participate in making decisions in their city/county that will impact their lives.

Somos un grupo diverso de residentes, trabajadores, votantes, y organizadores de San José que representan la necesidad inmediata de viviendas asequibles para personas sin hogar, residentes de bajos y muy bajos ingresos, y refugiados económicos.

Buscamos soluciones inmediatas, a largo plazo, y equitativas para garantizar una vivienda asequible para toda la gente.

Creemos en la vivienda para todos y queremos que los inquilinos participen en tomar las decisiones en su ciudad / condado en que impactarán sus vidas.

By bringing a diverse group of people together and giving powerful personal testimonies, we are putting faces and names to the statistics.

We are swaying public opinion and debunking stereotypes, while at the same time inspiring those affected to realize how powerful we can be through collective action.

Al reunir a un grupo diverso de personas y brindar testimonios personales poderosos, estamos poniendo caras y nombres a las estadísticas.
