PUBLIC INTEREST LAW PROJECT

Melissa Morris joined the Sacred Heart board in June 2018. Melissa is an attorney with the Public Interest Law Project, a statewide support center for California legal aid organizations. Melissa’s work includes litigation, policy advocacy, and training of other advocates regarding housing, public benefits, and the rights of people experiencing homelessness. Melissa has lived in the South Bay for over a decade, and she is proud to support Sacred Heart’s work to build power among low-income tenants, immigrants, and others to create a more just community where everyone can live in safety and dignity, free from poverty.
