Memorial for Barbara (BJ) Marrone

We are saddened to share that a volunteer of over 30 years, Barbara (BJ) Marrone, passed away in late October. Our staff members have many fond memories of her. She shared her love of family and her wonderful cooking - often bringing a dish to share or inviting a staff member to dinner. She and her husband were wonderful dancers. She was full of energy and loved to socialize and laugh. She also wasn't afraid to share her opinions of how our programs should work and helped in our Economic Empowerment program and Administration areas. Barbara's family has asked that people make donations to SHCS in lieu of flowers.
